Phân tích đề bài:

• Xác định dạng thư: Đối tượng nhận thư là một người bạn, đây là dạng thư thân mật (Informal letter).

In today's world, there is a debate about whether picture books are good for children's imagination. Some people believe that books with lots of pictures are beneficial for young kids, while others argue that they can limit children's creative thinking. In my opinion, I think that reading books with many pictures is good for children as they help with understanding and make reading more enjoyable.

Firstly, books with plenty of illustrations make reading easier for children, especially those who are still learning to read. Pictures act as visual aids that help kids understand and engage with the text. When they come across difficult ideas or new words, visuals can assist them in understanding better. The combination of text and images allows children to make connections and improve their comprehension and vocabulary.

Furthermore, picture books make reading more fun for children. The colorful and attractive illustrations grab their attention, making the reading experience more interesting and engaging. By bringing stories to life through visuals, pictures allow children to immerse themselves in the story. This increased interest in reading can lead to a lifelong love for books, as kids associate reading with enjoyment and entertainment.

Additionally, pictures in books can stimulate children's imagination and encourage them to create their own mental images. While illustrations provide visual references, they don't limit a child's imagination. Instead, they serve as a starting point for kids to imagine beyond what is shown. As children interact with the story and its pictures, they are inspired to visualize the details, settings, and characters in their own unique way. This imaginative process promotes creative thinking and allows children to develop their own stories in their minds.

In conclusion, reading books with lots of pictures is beneficial for children. The combination of text and visuals helps with understanding, makes reading more enjoyable, and promotes a love for reading. While concerns may arise about the potential limitations on children's imagination due to preconceived illustrations, it's important to recognize that pictures in books actually encourage imaginative thinking.
